Hi Clay! I’m a web designer working with folks to design user-friendly and sincere websites to market their products. I plan to use the information to better understand my clients and their markets. That’s easy. The first bullet you note is exactly what I’ll use it for: to get my sorry self over the fear I have. That and the fourth bullet: Detailed and step-by-step instructions on how to discover profitable markets and niches that others are overlooking. I struggle with that daily. Hourly, almost. To some extent I probably agonize over it more than whether to wear pants to work today. It’s that much of a pain for me.

I have a lot of interests and the usual “pick a niche” tools don’t really help. Perhaps your tools have the answer?

Clay- I have been struggling for close to a year on what to do. I learned about you from listening to Tripp Lanier’s fantastic New Man Podcast. I am currently a sales consultant for medical software, something I kind of fell into while scrambling to find a way to support my family (wife and 2 year old son). There are thing that I like and some that I don’t about being a 'salesperson' but this path has allowed me to learn valuable lessons and really stretch myself. As someone who was very shy socially while growing up I have had to overcome many mental blocks and fears to get to this point.
I am about to make a major move both geographically and career wise. I will be relocating to another state to be closer to my wife’s family and my job will move from a full time employee position to an independent contractor role (for the same company). This will also give me the independence to pursue something that will lead to a more fulfilling day to day for me and hopefully end the cycle of struggling to get by from paycheck to paycheck.
The company I work for now is mostly internet based so I know a little about online marketing and my wife has been selling small items on ebay and etsy for years to help pay the bills (about $400 a month).
I am an extremely creative (even artistic) person by nature and I learn new skills quickly. I am not sure what product to pour myself into yet, but I am hoping that your program will help me narrow it down.

I'm a student and I'm interested in starting up a clothing design brand, I think your course will really help me to grasp the core principles of a successful business. I really enjoy your emails and posts, and when something hits the spot, I send it around. Your site is a great resource.

For the last 5 years I've been commuting for almost two hour from home to my job. A job I enjoy less each day. I've been trying to find a way to stop that, and do somthing worth with my time, spend more time with my family (at least see my children awake at night, and not just lying asleep in the bed) and be able to enjoy them and enjoy life. I've been reading a lot of info in internet of how having the correct product selling in internet has changed a lot of people, and I just want to learn how to do that, get to people with something they need, or want, or make them know that they need it, and make a living of it.

More important for me is to show (not teach) my children that there are a lot of possibilities in life different than just getting a job and working to make some other people rich.

Unfortunately I missed the chance to get involved in Project Mojave last year and my desire for starting an online business drifted for a few months, however its been back with vengeance this last couple of months ( I really cant take much more of my 60 hour a week grind).
So I snapped last week and bought, although I couldn't really afford it a course for 297 bucks that unfortunately has turned out to be a bunch of sales pages with links to other products I must have but cant afford!!!

I have several ideas which your content could help me test and get started.

One idea I have is to set up a consultancy or program to help students in high school and college figure out, “what they want to be when they grow up.”

I also want to get into writing ebooks. The first would be about organization, and it's importance for getting things done. I have a system that I use and I feel could really benefit really talented people, but are bogged down because their shit is all over the place.

I'm an artist. That seems to make it a little tougher to select a niche, since I want my art to stay the same. I'm looking for the people who want my art as it is, and don't want me to change it into something else, so I'm hoping to use your course to identify the people who are already looking for my art (or at least, art just like mine.) That niche must exist… and I'm the artist creating exactly what they want. We just haven't met yet, so I'm hoping your course will help us get together.

Hi Clay, I can't believe I saw this post a week too late!!! I stumbled on to your site last night thinking this is the EXACT thing that I have been looking for. I have read tons of lifestyle design books and sites, but find yours the most down to earth and truthful.

Just when I thought you must be God sent to help digging myself out of this rat race hell hole, I saw the May 17th deadline!!!!! When it comes to finding and developing my own niche, I almost suspect I have developed some sort of adult ADHD since I don't seem to be able to stick with one idea.
