How Project Mojave Became a 6-Figure Website in 3 Months (Plus, PM Turns 1 Year Old)

by Clay on March 29, 2010

Project Mojave turned 1 years old this month.  I made the video below to share some of the biggest lessons we’ve learned along the way.

It has been a joy to work with Clay and Tracy in Project Mojave (which provides *excellent* curriculum & support) to build my own business as well as support others in building theirs!

Those who are reading this and not yet part of Project Mojave — I encourage you to jump on the opportunity when it opens again.

George, it's been great working with you. You're doing great things and I'm happy to call you a peer. Thanks for all you do.

Awesome Clay, congrats! Love the point about getting down to business. Absolutely the #1 issue with people struggling to enter the IM space.

Totally. People will do everything in their power to keep themselves from making an offer.

Yes, when, when, when is this going to open up again???

Heh, the countdown in my head has already begun :-). Soon enough.

Collins, you crack me up! While *most* of this video is true, I have to point out a few errors so that your readers have ALL the facts. Where Clay speaks about me, saying that I'm “the boss” for Clay's “sorry ass,” I must respond: Are you kidding me? This is what being the “boss” of Clay is like: Picture 100 cats in a room. On crack. Now turn a dozen severely sedated mice loose in the room. Then, in the midst of the ruckus, you ask a sheepdog to please gently herd the cats through a 6-inch opening, single file, in a calm and orderly fashion. Oh, and all the cats have to be through that entrance in the next 5 minutes. THAT's what it would be like trying to be the “boss” of Clay :).

Another fact: Clay also has an amazing VA that works for him. The kind you dream of who never complains no matter what you ask her to do.

Final fact correction: We've gotten over 100 testimonials in the last 12 months, not just the 70+ Clay stated. See? I told you I wasn't the boss of Clay or else he would have run this by me first!

Happy Birthday, Project Mojave–I can hardly wait to see what you're like when you hit two!

Tracy, this made me laugh out loud. I have know idea how the hell we pulled any of this off before you. Thanks for keeping the crazy in check.

Congratulations and thanks for the video. The part about having a product, launching it before even starting the blog struck me. May I ask what the product was and did you have it on another domain? A little more details about this would be nice :)

Hey, thanks for the encouragement Toshi! I'll get on this :-).

  • Pete Windy

A great success story Clay – I came across your site a couple of months back and was impressed.

In a world of fakes it's nice to see a enthusiastic, genuine, slightly-mad dude willing people on to great achievements!

Let me know when Project Mojave reopens. Count me in!

  • http://FinanceYourFreedom.com/blog/ Clay Collins

Hey Pete! Thanks for the kind words. I look forward to our road(s) ahead. Can't wait to talk.

  • http://FinanceYourFreedom.com/blog/ Clay Collins

Hi Jorn! The product I was referring to in that video was Project Mojave.

  • http://www.ProfessionalEncourager.com David – aka @threedot

    Congrat's – love the site

  • Pete Windy

Hi there Clay – it's Pete Windy from the UK again.

Now call me impatient, but I just bought Brendon's Expert Academy through your link – the main reason being to jump the queue and get your incentive – Project Mojave Coaching Edition! I know you're planning to release PM again soon, but your offer was too good to miss.

When you get a minute, please let me know how I can gain access. Cheers fella!
