Thing #1 Escape From Cubicle Nation: From Corporate Prisoner to Thriving Entrepreneur

First off, Pam Slim  – who kicks ridiculous amounts of ass – wrote a book called Escape from Cubicle nation.  Pam is awesome and so is her book (if you read this blog, you should definitely read her book).  Seriously, you should read this.  Click here to check out her blog, here to see a sample chapter, and here to read reviews of the book at amazon.com (nope, that’s not an affiliate link).

279-days-logo-201x300 Thing #2 Chris G’s Manifesto: 279 Day to Overnight Success

Chris G from the Art of Non-Conformity wrote a manifesto called 279 days to overnight success.  It’s free, it’s beautiful, and it’s dam good.  It’s about life, lifestyle design, traveling the world, living your passion, and so many other things.  Check it.

careerrent Thing #3 Career Renegade: How to Make a Great Living Doing What You Love

Last, but definitely not least (this list is in chronological order by publication date), Jonathan Fields wrote a book called Career Renegade.  Like everything on this list of three, it’s one of the best things I’ve read in a long time.  If you don’t want to be sucked in by a fascinating story, then definately, definately DO NOT read the first chapter of Jonathan’s book.

Peace,
Clay

The Marketing Program is a step-by-step, walk-you-by-
the-hand bootcamp.

Each month, we give you ONE (and no more than one) "marketing project" to complete in your business.

You do that one project each month . . . and we guarantee that if you do the stuff, you'll double your online income during the next 12 months, or we'll double your money back.

Anyway, each monthly marketing project is a plain -as-day, from A-Z, step-by-step, no B.S. blueprint (that has been tested and proven to work over and over again) for getting multiple on-demand cash infusions into your business.

I like your blog, this is another great post. However, why bother writing so much about it instead of just starting some kind of business yourself? I'm about to and you and other bloggers have been a source of inspiration and knowledge, but still I'm wondering.. Well, perhaps you do and I just missed it.

Hey, Lukas, please see my the page on this blog called “my story.” So yea, I “do it” and I write about it. Which can be kind of time-consuming. But that's OK.–Clay

Clay,Most people don't know how to live their lives because they haven't been taught or shown by their parents the blueprint/roadmap to leading a productive happy life. I don't want to knock parents, because I am one too. I am still learning. When I find out something I feel is worthy to be shared, I do so. But I too am still searching for what will make me happy and feel fulfilled.JE

Escaping from anything conventional requires self-knowledge. When you know yourself, you are given confidence to separate yourself from herd behavior. If your number one job is understanding yourself, then you will be successful at any other “job.” Self-knowledge is three-tiered: 1) Understanding yourself as a human; 2) Understanding yourself as a unique individual personality; and 3) Understanding your environment.”Nearly all mankind is more or less unhappy because nearly all do not know the true Self. Real happiness abides in self-knowledge alone. All else is fleeting. To know one's Self is to be blissful always.” ~ Ramana Maharishi
